21st Birthday Card

I made this card for my son's 21st birthday.

This is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card. The patterned cardstock layer on the front and inside are 4 x 5 1/4". The off white layer on the inside is 3 1/2 x 4 3/4". The strip across the bottom on the front and inside is 4 x 1/2".

I used the Campin' Critters Cricut cartridge to cut the fishing deer, which can be found on page 24 of the handbook. I cut the the deer at 3 1/2". All solid cardstock is Recollections. The patterned cardstock is Close To My Heart from the Free To Be Me paper pack. I used the Close To My Heart Hopscotch Alphabet stamp set (item # E1028) to stamp 21 on the front and used the Close To My Heart Banner Wishes stamp set (item # B1438) to stamp Happy Birthday on the front. I used the retired Close To My Heart Card Chatter-Birthday stamp set for the inside sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Two Birthday Cards

I've been MIA, but I've been busy scrapping! I have to take pictures of the layouts I have completed and will post them after I do.

Here are two birthday cards that I made.

The first card was for my friend Chris' husband Tom. He likes to camp, so this porcupine cut is from the Cricut cartridge Campin' Critters and is cut at 2 3/4". I can't remember which cartridge I cut the camp fire from. All solid cardstock, including the card base, is Bazzill, and the patterned paper is from The Paper Studio Birthday Extravaganza paper pack. This is an A2 card.

The second card, also an A2 card, was for my Grandson's birthday. He loves Angry Birds! I received the tutorial on how to make the Angry Bird characters (using Stampin' Up! punches) from Dennyse Ayala Gonzales (on Facebook). I used the Cuttlebug A2 Happy Birthday embossing folder on the card base. All cardstock is Bazzill.
