Halloween Cards

Here are cards I made for my grandsons for Halloween.

I used the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge and cut the monsters at 3 1/2".  The base of each card measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", and the mats are 5" x 3 3/4".  I used Recollections cardstock for the bases of the cards, The Paper Studio Spooksville paper pack for the mats and Bazzill cardstock for the monsters.  I also added googly eyes, gems by Queen & Co. and Action Wobbles to the monsters.  Below are pictures showing the monsters wobbling.

I sure hope my grandsons like their cards.

Halloween Treat Holder

My grandson's pre-school Halloween party is today, so I made a treat holder that holds a mini bag of popcorn for each child.

Here is my project:

I used the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the bat at 5 1/2" (page 76 in the handbook using the Card feature) and the tag at 1 3/4" (page 77 in the handbook using the Card feature and shift key).  I used CM black cardstock for the bat and Bazzill orange cardstock for the tag.  I used a stamp from the CTMH Spellbound Workshop on the Go and CTMH Exclusive Inks Archival Black stamp pad to stamp on the tag and added googly eyes I had on hand.

I sure hope my grandson's pre-school class likes these.

Halloween Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Halloween blog hop hosted by the wonderful Yolonda from Crafty Scentiments! You should have arrived here from the very talented Terri's blog. If you didn't, you can go to Crafty Scentiments, start at the beginning of the hop and have a chance to win a Cricut cartridge. I'm sure you'll see a lot of wonderful Halloween projects on this hop.

Here is my project, which is a Hello Kitty Halloween card.

Gypsy Screen Shot of the cuts:

The front and inside of the card:

I used the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge to cut Hello Kitty and the pumpkin.  Hello Kitty was cut at a height of 4 1/2 inches, and the pumpkin was cut at a height of 2 1/2 inches.  All cardstock used for the cuts is Bazzill.  The base is white cardstock, and the patterned paper is something that was in my stash.  The stamp used for the sentiment was purchased at Michaels.

Thanks for hopping by and now hop to Liz's blog.
