Fall Layout

I actually found time to make a 2 page layout, and here it is.

The base cardstock is Wausau cardstock and it's a shiny gold. All the solid cardstock is Recollections. I used the Pooh Font Set Cricut cartridge to cut "fall fun" at 1 3/4" using the Wood feature. I cut the leaves from the 3 Birds Straight From The Nest Cricut cartridge at 6". I inked the top of the title and the edges of the leaves with CTMH's Chocolate Exclusive Ink pad using a dauber.

Here is a screenshot of my Gypsy, and you'll see that I used the hide/contour feature to hide one of the leaves I didn't want.

It sure felt good to fit in some scrapbooking! Hopefully I can get more done this weekend.

Baby Shower Invitation - CricutDIVA DT Post

I made this invitation for my soon-to-be daughter-in-law. She wanted pink camouflage and Winnie The Pooh, so here is what I came up with.

The base of the invitation is white cardstock, and it is an A2 size card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then added a light pink layer that measures 4" x 5 1/4". The next layer is the pink camouflage cardstock that measures 3 3/4" x 5". Baby Shower is from the New Arrival Cricut cartridge. It was cut at 2" using the Shadow feature. (When you see the screenshot of my Gypsy, please disregard the Baby Shower in the upper left corner of the screen. When I cut this, some of the letters were so thin, they tore. That is why I used the Shadow feature for this.) I cut Winnie The Pooh from the Pooh Font Set Cricut cartridge, and he was cut at 2 1/2".
For the inside of the invitation, the camouflage layer is 4" x 5 1/4" and the light pink layer is 3 3/4" x 5". I bought the stamp at Michael's and used the Close To My Heart Archival Black Ink Pad  for the stamping.
All solid cardstock is Recollections and I bought the pink camouflage paper from Stampin' Station.
Here is the screenshot of my Gypsy.

My future daughter-in-law and her Mom loved the way the invitations turned out. I'm thrilled they liked it.

Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my Mom's birthday.

I used my Cricut Expression 2 Anniversary Edition and my Gypsy. Here are screenshots of my Gypsy.

This is an A2 size card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). All the solid cardstock is Recollections, and the patterned paper is SEI. I used the Country Life Cricut cartridge for the pitcher of flowers (page 60) and cut it at 4". I used the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge for the scalloped oval (oblong and shadow - page 23), which was also cut at 4". I also cut extra flowers in each color as on the front to use on the inside of the card. I used Queen & Co. Rox Ice Solid Gold for the centers of all the flowers. The patterned paper mat on the inside of the card is 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", and the solid color mat is 3" x 4 1/4". I used the Close To My Heart Card Chatter - Birthday stamp set for the sentiments on the front and inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!

CricutDIVA Design Team Birthday & Graduation Cards

For the CricutDIVA DesignTeam Blog, I made the following birthday and graduation cards.

First is the birthday card I made.

All cardstock is Recollections. This is an A2 card (5 1/2" x 4 1/4"). The yellow layer is 5 1/4" x 4". The car is from the Groovy Times Cricut cartridge (page 49) and was cut at 2". I used my Gypsy to lay out all the cuts on my mat, and here is a screenshot of my Gypsy and a picture of my mat:

I ended up not using the white stars for the windshield of the car, because it was so small that it didn't cut well. Instead, I used a white gel pen to put the star on the windshield. I used an EK Success tag punch to make the tag and sentiment on the front and inside of the card is from the Close To My Heart Card Chatter - Birthday stamp set. I then added silver Queen and Co. pearls to the front. The yellow mat on the inside of the card measures 5" x 3 3/4", and the white mat measures 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".

Now let me show you the graduation card I made. It is a tri-shutter card, which is the first one that I've made.

The dark blue solid cardstock for the base is Bazzill, and the patterned paper is from the SEI Field Notes paper pack. I used the Paper Dolls Teen Scene Cricut cartridge to cut the girl graduate (page 30) at 5". The cap was cut at 2 1/4" using the Creative Memories This & That Cricut cartridge. The sentiment is from the TPC Studio Class Act Stamp set.

I also used my Gypsy to make the cuts, and here is the screenshot of my Gypsy as well as pictutes of my mat.

I hope you enjoyed my cards. Also, please remember to visit the CricutDIVA Design Team Blog.
