A Halloween Card & Some Layouts

I was productive at my weekend getaways the middle of September and the beginning of October. Here are pictures of the Halloween card and layouts I completed during those weekends.

This is an A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2"). The pumpkin stamps were purchased at Archivers, and I used Spectrum Noir markers to color them. The patterned paper was from my stash, and I used black glitter tape behind the mat with the images and behind the inside sentiment. I borrowed the stamp for the inside sentiment.

I used the CTMH Sarita Paper Packet and Stickease Assortment to make the above layouts.

I used patterned paper from my stash for the first page of this layout and used my Cricut to cut the title cousins (sorry I can't remember which cartridge). On the second page, all cardstock is Bazzill. I used the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge to cut the background of page 2, as well as the camera embellishment. I also used CTMH Flip Flaps to show all the pictures it took to get a good one of the kids. I also used glitter tape on the second page.

For this layout, the base of the pages is Wausau cardstock. It is a shimmery blue. The trim at the bottom and in the corners is from the Cricut Circle Paper Trimmings cartridge. Again I can't remember which cartridge I used for the font, but I think it was Nursery Rhymes.

I finally started my album from my trip to Portland, Oregon. This is my cover page. I used CTMH Dream Pop patterned paper for the base. Oregon was cut from the Destinations Cricut cartridge. I can't remember which font I used for Portland and July 2013.

I bought the patterned paper for the base of this page at a local scrapbook store. The dimensional sticker I added to the photo was also bought at the local scrapbook store.

I used patterned paper from the CTMH Dream Pop paper packet for the base of this page. All solid cardstock is Bazzill. The dimensional stickers were purchased at a local scrapbook store.

I again used patterned paper from the CTMH Dream Pop paper packet for the base of these pages. All solid cardstock is Bazzill, and the dimensional sticker was purchased at the local scrapbook store.

The solid background cardstock for this layout is Coredinations. All other solid cardstock is Bazzill. I cut the beer mug at 3" from the Smiley Cards Cricut cartridge. I used chalk on the mug where the beer would show through and then added dots of liquid glass to make it look like sweat on a cold mug.

All solid cardstock for this layout is Bazzill. I cut Oregon from the 50 States Cricut cartridge.

The base for this layout is from the CTMH Dream Pop paper packet. All solid cardstock is Bazzill. Again, I can't remember which Cricut cartridge I used for the title. Boy, I guess I'd better start writing down which cartridges I use.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my card and layouts.

First Day of School Layout

Here is a layout I did using the Close To My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

I set the Cricut Expression 2 at 11" to cut everything for the layout. That's the wonderful thing about the CTMH Artbooking cartridge - you set what size to cut the mat, and all the coordinating embellishments cut in proportion! All cardstock, except the green mat on the second page, is Bazzill. The green cardstock used for the mat is Close To My Heart. The only thing I have to do on this layout yet is to have my Grandson write his name on the name tag.

Two Birthday Cards

I've been MIA, but I've been busy scrapping! I have to take pictures of the layouts I have completed and will post them after I do.

Here are two birthday cards that I made.

The first card was for my friend Chris' husband Tom. He likes to camp, so this porcupine cut is from the Cricut cartridge Campin' Critters and is cut at 2 3/4". I can't remember which cartridge I cut the camp fire from. All solid cardstock, including the card base, is Bazzill, and the patterned paper is from The Paper Studio Birthday Extravaganza paper pack. This is an A2 card.

The second card, also an A2 card, was for my Grandson's birthday. He loves Angry Birds! I received the tutorial on how to make the Angry Bird characters (using Stampin' Up! punches) from Dennyse Ayala Gonzales (on Facebook). I used the Cuttlebug A2 Happy Birthday embossing folder on the card base. All cardstock is Bazzill.
